コラム「カメリア」～ 国際優秀つばき園認定に向けた取り組み（大島高校）～

　大島高校では国際優秀つばき園認定に向けて、さまざまな取り組みをしています。
　特にツバキの品種名のローマ字表記や、併記しているQRコードから大島高校HPの品種紹介にリンクするよう、樹名板を整備しています。
　視察当日は農林科生徒全員に役割が与えられており、一人一人が椿園全体や各品種の説明などを英語で担当することになっています。また、茶華道部や郷土芸能部による催しもあるようです。それぞれが一生懸命に、最高のおもてなしをするために準備を進めています！！
　皆さんの努力が認定にむけた大きな力になるはずです。頑張れ！島高生！！

Various initiatives to get a recognition as an International Camellia Garden of Excellence are now under way at Oshima Senior High School. Especially, they are posting new labels for visitors to read the name of cultivars and species in the English alphabet and to access the Oshima Senior High School's homepage of cultivars and species information via QR codes. Each student will have a particular role to explain about the garden itself or a certain cultivar when the ICS director visits the school. Also, the Tea Ceremony and Flower Arrangement club as well as the Folk Entertainment club will have special events. Everyone is doing their best for preparation so that they can provide a supreme "OMOTENASHI". Your efforts will make a great step in getting this recognition.
